Madeline E. Nemcek

Madeline E. Nemcek, 97 passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents Ola & Ada Vroman, son Thomas Nemcek, niece Sharan Vroman-Inman, sisters Eleanor Brigotta and Grace Vroman, brother Ola Vroman, and best friends Ricky & Audrey.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Richard Nemcek; daughter Joyce Clegg; son Alan Nemcek; daughter-in-law Peggy Nemcek; step daughter Rosann; grandchildren Melanie & Glenn, Krista & Rich, Gretta & Peter, and Connor; step grandson Shawn; great grandchildren Alex, Samantha, Kiera, Landon, Jackson, Carter, Griffin, Gavin, Hayden and Jake; great great granddaughter Xoe and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Madeline formed and taught the first paralegal class at Broome Tech and was a member of the Legal Secretary Club of Broome County. She was a longtime member of the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, playing piano and the Accordion, crocheting, knitting, and making barbie clothes and selling them at craft fairs. She also enjoyed family time at the lake and traveling the globe with her husband Richard.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Upper Front Street, Binghamton, NY on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11am.
