Maida and Frank enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time together at their cottage on Laurel Lake in Pennsylvania. Maida loved music and played the bass when she was young. Maida was always working on a knitting project and loved to make socks, sweaters, and gloves. She enjoyed sharing meals and playing cards with friends at Good Shepherd Village. She adored her sweet and loving dogs, Molly and Tory, who were faithful companions.
We want to thank the staff of Good Shepherd Village for the care and comfort they provided in her final days, as well as Ellen Decatur, who supported her as a dear friend and helper during the past year. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday August 2 at 10:30 a.m. at The United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton, 42 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY. Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Chenango Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to WSKG or the United Way of Broome County.
