Marilyn happily retired from the NYS Department of Labor and the Department of Transportation.
A proud and devoted Grandma, Marilyn loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren and her faith were most important to her. Marilyn also enjoyed gardening.
Marilyn was preceded by her parents, Gerald & Helen Robideau; son, Sean Brownell; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Robideau.
Marilyn is survived by son, Timothy Brownell; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca & Chad Benedict; grandchildren, Devin & Owen Edwards, Tyler & Ethan Benedict, Liam Brownell and Lauren Thomas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert & Corrine Robideau, Donald & Linda Robideau, David & Ann Robideau and Thomas Robideau; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will recieve friends at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 801 Main Street, Vestal, NY on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 9:30 - 10:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
