Mary E. Goff Dyer Mitchell, 79, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, ten siblings, great-granddaughter, Alexis. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Leland Mitchell. children, Kim & Dennis Gombita, Cindy & Steve Oxley, Shelley Arnold & Rich, Cheryl & John Hochrun, Amy & Michael Whitbeck; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way. sister, Beverly & Jerry Quick, several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Janet, Mary Lou and the staff of Ideal Senior Living Center for their loving care. Mary loved to sing, dance, yodel, and country music. She enjoyed time spent with her big family and volunteering at the Kalurah Shrine. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church, 6 Morris Street, Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY. In Mary's memory donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
