Mary M Tomassi

Mary M. (Monticello) Tomassi died peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 with her Rosary and Prayer Book in her hands. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and husband, Dante. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Mae and husband Frank Tiesi and Francianne Shierly; her grandchildren, Lizanne and Robert Korinek; Mary Fran Fayerweather; Michele and George Hayes; Frank and Wendy Tiesi; Dante and Michelle Tiesi; Dayna and Bruno Saraceno; Darren Shierly; Edward Shierly; Toni Chris Palmer; 17 great grandchildren; brother Albert and sister Angela Hawk. Mary was a bit of a gourmet, loved to knit and crochet, was an avid reader, poker player and crossword puzzle worker. She loved baseball especially the Yankees.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:00 PM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY on Saturday March 31st from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
