

Patricia (Reilly) Ferry, a cherished member of the Hillcrest community, passed away peacefully at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family. She was a cornerstone of her community, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support.
Patricia, known affectionately as "Pat," shared 62 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Donald B. Ferry, Jr., creating a bond that stood as a testament to enduring love and commitment. Together, they nurtured a loving family and created countless cherished memories.
Patricia's devotion to her family was unparalleled. She was a devoted mother to her children, Mark (Beth) Ferry, David (Marianne) Ferry, Michelle Terry, Deanna (Jamie) Forbidussi, and Donald (Christine) Ferry. Her dedication extended to her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, where she found boundless joy in the presence of her grandchildren Derek (Mikala), Devin (Mackenzie), Jordan, David (Megan), KC (Kate), Dominik (Renee), Danielle, Julia, Samantha (Billy), Maria, Dylan, Tessa, Anthony, and Zachary and her great-grandchildren Jett, Jovie, Nash, Anna James, Hailey, and Stihl. She was also a devoted and loving dog mom to Sadie, a Yorkshire Terrier who was a faithful friend and loyal companion.
Throughout her life, Patricia touched the lives of many through her kindness and generosity. As the proud owner of her own beauty shop for many years, she became a trusted confidante and friend to her clients, offering not just hairstyling expertise but also a compassionate ear and warm smile.
Her contributions to the community of Hillcrest were numerous, from her involvement as a grade mother and PTA member to her recognition as the Hillcrest Woman of the Year, a testament to her selflessness and dedication to serving others.
Patricia's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She cherished moments spent with them playing cards, baking an array of Christmas cookies, and tackling puzzles with enthusiasm and laughter. Her culinary talents were legendary, as she effortlessly whipped up delicious meals, always ensuring there was plenty to share with unexpected visitors.
Fondly remembered as "The Candy Lady" by her grandchildren's friends and teammates, Patricia's unwavering support and presence at their ball games were a source of comfort and encouragement for all who knew her.
Patricia (Reilly) Ferry's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. While she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, generosity, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Joseph Reilly, and she is survived by her sister, Mary Kay Cahill.
