Patrick is survived by the love of his life, Li, and also his twin brother Michael Ireland, and his mother Lorraine Ireland. He was a beloved member of the extended Contro family.
Patrick enjoyed travelling, boating, fishing, swimming, gardening, nature, antiquing, tinkering with boats and cars and spending time at the family cottage in Canada. He was selfless, kind, helpful and hardworking, with a great sense of humor.
Patrick was deeply loved and respected by both family and friends and will be greatly missed. As per Patrick’s request, there will be a Celebration of Life in his memory for family and friends at a future date.
