Stanley Bush Chenango Forks, NY Let us celebrate a life well lived. Stanley Bush, 84 of Chenango Forks, NY left this earth unexpectedly on Saturday November 25, 2023. He is now reunited in heaven with his parents, his Father Stanley Bush Sr., his Mother Ann (Brodicki) and his sister Shirley Whitbeck. He is survived by his lovingand devoted family; his wife of 59 years Doreen (Myers) Bush; his children Laura (Kevin), Dan (Mischelle) and Susan (Matt). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rickie (Heather), Jessica, Ray, Daniel, Haley, Dalton, Jesse, and great grand children, Lila and Bella, and also a large extended family who he treasured. Stan graduated from Harpursville High School and proudly served his country as member of the United States Navy. Upon returning home, Stan met the love of his life, Doreen Myers, a sweet local girl who could cook up a storm from a large family of ten, and that just gave him more people to share his life with. Stan and Doreen married and built their new home brick by brick in Chenango Forks where they raised their three children. They loved to celebrate and were life long hosts holding gatherings for their family and friends both at their home and at their cottage on the lake. Stan loved life, he had an indelible spirit, a quick wit, and was a fantastic husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, neighbor and a true friend to everyone. He wouldn't miss a good party, fishing trip, ballgame or an opportunity to lend a hand, he always made sure everyone was taken care of. Christmas Eve won't be the same without you Dad but we know we will see you again. Love lives on.

The family will recieve friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 11am-1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in the Sanitaria Springs Cemetery.
