Thomas R. McMillen Jr., 53, of Chenango Forks, New York, passed away at home on May 5, 2021. Tom lost his life to ALS just 4 months after being diagnosed.
Tom is survived by his parents, Thomas and Sandra; his wife, Tina; his children Tommy and Tanner; stepson, Kevin; daughters-in-law, Nikki, Kayla and Chase; granddaughters, Mallory and Melanie; siblings Billy, Donnie, Christina and their families; grandmother, Louise Rose; many aunts, uncles and lifelong friends.
Tom was a proud family man. He found the most joy in spending time with his wife, sons and their families. Tom loved nothing more than being a grandparent to two little girls who helped to make his life whole. He enjoyed ACDC, Harley Davidson and bonfires where he most often could be found grilling, dancing and singing.
He worked for Broome County for 23 years as a heavy equipment operator where he was a friend and mentor to many.
Tom’s presence impacted many lives and he will be missed dearly. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
