William James Roberts Sr.

Bill was born on May 11th, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, and relocated to the Binghamton area. In 1984 William met and married Lisa A Sindon. Bill and Lisa went on to have one son, William James Roberts Jr. In 1990 Bill met and married Billie Jo Holbert. William and Billie Jo share two boys, James Ceaser Roberts and Zildj Ian Roberts.

William possessed a big heart. He quickly became friends with everyone he met. He was a true friend to the friendless. He was a free spirit and lived life on his own terms.

Bill possessed many hobbies. He was a talented artist and drummer. He will be greatly missed by all who played with him and those that heard him play.

William is predeceased by his mother Shirley Marie Roberts, his sister Richarl Lee Roberts and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his sons, William J Roberts Jr, James C Roberts, and Zildj I. Roberts; his father, Anthony T Roberts; his sisters, Stacey L. Norton, Tina M. Seay, and Paula Workman; his grandchildren, Zoey Anastasia Myers, Ryah Joy Roberts, Carson James Roberts, Selena Elise Roberts and Atlas William Roberts; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of services, the family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date in the near future.
