My Brian,
    I am still doing no better than I was when I watched you die in front of me. I miss you so much.  James is also in a bad way, he is still so upset about you not being here he cries at the mention of your name. On Mother's Day he told me that he sneeks into your room at their house,(Tricia still can't bring herself to pack up your things), and hides under the bed pretending you are there.  I'm starting to think that if I give him some of your ashes it might make him feel better.  That way he can always have you (or part of you) with him. 
    Racing season is starting up again. Please continue to ride in the right hand seat when ever Jason is driving, don't let anything happen to him. You and Aunt Kathie can watch over him together, keep him safe. After the loss of you and Kathie I couldn't take another one.
    I keep looking through your cell phone at the pictures and reading the messages in it. I wish there was a video on it that had your voice on it so I could hear you again. I miss you so much. I Love You !
    Rest easy my son, until we are together again I will have to be satisfied with just writing to you like this.

  I know you were there to meet Aunt Kathie when she got there yesterday afternoon. Please give her a big hug from me. She donated anything that could be used the same way you did. She also left us as unexpectedly as you did. Two things that both of your passings have in common.I will miss her,but just as with you there are many family members there. She now has gotten to meet my twin sister as you did. I hope all of you rest easy. Brian I still think of and miss you every day and every night. I wish I could go back to when I was expecting you. Then I would be able to spend all that time with you again and maybe find out about the problem sooner and erase the pain you went through. I love you and miss you. Kiss and hug Aunt Kathie for me and tell her I love her.

I'm sitting here in the middle of the night watching a movie. I'm not even really paying attention to it. My mind is on you. I spend many nights this way. Your father is sleeping beside me and I am here missing you. If only I could go back to a time when you were little or even back to when I was expecting you. Then we could start over and this time find out about the health problems earlier. Then maybe things would work out better for you. I miss you so much I would do anything to have you back. I love you and miss you Brian and I always will.

  It's been 1year,8 hours since we said goodbye to you in that hospital. Your ashes sit in our bedroom where we can see them first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Your spirit is always with us,you are on our minds always. We talk of you often,at least once a day. We miss you. ou are still our son and always will be. You have little ways of showing us you are still around us. Many times we look at each other after something happens and one or both of us will say that's Brian and smile. Those times make life easier to go on with. Rest easy son and keep sitting in the right hand seat when Death Wish Racing is on the track.

Just thinking the other day when your Mom asked to share a memory of you. The memory that popped into my head was from a long time ago. The day our family was at Grandpa's house painting his fence. You, Jason, Trish, Amanda, your Mom, Aunt Barb and me. Lots of colorful paint and a whole lot of laughing (and mischief). I thought about you and Jason's psychedelic figures you painted behind the evergreens. It was a great day and you kids had so much fun. Grandpa even found the strength to come and look at it. The neighbor may not have loved your handiwork, but we loved it. I can't help but laugh of the neighbor's reaction to it. I don't know why that particular memory entered my head, but it was such a fun day. Miss you and love you. I hope Grandpa and Uncle Bobby gave you a high five for it. You know your uncle loved to paint too. Love always, Aunt Kathie.

At this time (8:28pm) Rich and I were watching the 3 doctors and a nurse trying to bring our son back. We knew it wasn't to be but let them try.... just maybe it would. They continued to try for another 1/2 hour at which time we told them to stop and let him be. Those were the hardest words we ever had to say as parents. They hurt to say but we knew it was best. We(Rich, Jason & I) sat with our Baby Boy until after 11pm. Then we went home for a long sleepless night. We miss you Brian and we love you. It hasn't gotten any easier for either of us. I don't think it ever will. Sleep well Baby no more pain or needles. Our Love Always

Brian its been a month since you left us.  I stlll can't believe it.  I miss you terrible. Our hearts are still broken and hurting but your pain is all gone. Until we meet again, I LOVE YOU!!

Brian I can't believe your gone. You were one of the closest people to me and even though we didn't always see eye to eye you still were always there for me. You were a caring, and great friend to all. I have so many awesome memories of you. Which I never will forget. I am greatful to have had you as a part of my life from being little to playing at grandmas and grandpas house to when we got older and you would come to our house and visit. Thank you for everything. You will be missed by many and never forgotten. Rest easy my cousin and my friend. This is not good bye its see you later. I know one day I will see you one day again. R.I.P. love you.

Our family is one less again, a piece of our hearts taken away too soon. I hope you have found the rest you deserve. We are here, missing you, but knowing how many were there to greet you. I'm sure you and Uncle Bobby will be into some good old fun things. Hug everyone for me and know I will miss you as I have missed them. You have crossed over the finish line, the checkered flag has waved. No more yellow and red flags, they are always green in heaven. You have touched so many people in your shortened life, but their out pouring of love and kind words show how you were special to everyone you met. You shot straight from the hip, no holds barred. You earned respect from so many in numerous ways. Your sportsmanship, your honesty, your willingness to help others and especially your strength. Even after you left this world, you will live on, giving others a chance at life. Your mom and dad raised you well. Be at peace now my nephew. You were so strong for so long. Time to rest. To My Baby Boy Brian, You were born my last baby, my only one to have Dad's blue eyes. From the time you were young you had the same sense of humor as your Dad your brother Jason and your Uncle Russ always a tease and a wise guy. You had a great run on the track for many years. We will always have your trophies and track pictures to remember the time you spent with your race cars. No matter how bad you felt your cars were always #1. Every time you went in the hospital you would tell the doctors when you wanted to be out by because there was a race coming up. You never agreed with them that you should stop the Demos or Enduros. You even had fun with the Roll Overs. Every day of your illness you fought hard until the very end. I know you didn't want to go but I also know you were tired. That's why when you told me that night that you had had enough I told you okay, I didn't want to lose you, but I knew you deserved the rest.  You will always hold a very special place in my heart. One that even time can't fill. I Love You Brian and that will never change. I will miss you every day of my life.
