Coleen A. Kelly of Port Jefferson Station, NY, passed away on December 3, 2025. Born on July 17, 1955, in New York, Coleen lived a life filled with love, warmth, and devotion to the people she cherished most.
For 41 years, Coleen shared her life with her beloved husband, Bernard “Brian” Kelly, including 38 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a family rooted in loyalty, laughter, and deep affection. She was the loving and devoted mother of Kristin Kelly Dickens and her husband, Bradley Dickens, and of Ryan Kelly and his wife, Meagan Leader. Coleen’s pride and joy were her treasured grandchildren, Hailey and Conor Dickens, who brought endless light to her life.
Coleen was also the adored sister of Dennis Coleman and his wife, Rose, and Richard Coleman and his wife, Beverly. Her family meant everything to her, and she embraced every opportunity to gather, celebrate, and simply enjoy being together.
A natural nurturer, Coleen expressed her love through cooking, delighting family and friends with her famous pot roast and her beloved mayo parmigiana chicken. She enjoyed her visits to Jake’s 58, but she was just as happy curled up at home watching Christmas movies, Hallmark films, or her favorite reality TV shows—whether it was 90 Day Fiancé, Married at First Sight, The Bachelor, America’s Got Talent, The Voice, or countless others that brought her entertainment and joy.
Coleen will be remembered for her generosity, her comforting presence, and her unwavering love for those around her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Gerard Majella Roman Catholic Church, 300 Terryville Road, Port Jefferson Station. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Coleen’s memory.
Coleen’s love, humor, and spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
