He was a devoted husband to Marian, his beloved wife of 65 years, and together they built a strong and loving family. Frank was a proud father to Frank N. (Kristen), Gina M. Pascale (Ralph), and Laurie Scalera (Christopher). His legacy lives on in his cherished grandchildren, Mitchell LaBianca (Jamie), Griffen LaBianca, Jason Pascale (Carrie), Michael Scalera, Julianna Scalera, Emily Scalera, and Sophia Scalera, as well as his adored great-grandchildren, Whitleigh Scalera, Ozzy Nicole LaBianca, Georgie Elizabeth LaBianca, Emma Pascale, and Jamie Pascale.
Frank began his career at the William Floyd School District in 1960, where he taught Print Shop and served as a Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. Known for his health-conscious lifestyle, Frank also had a deep appreciation for good food, balancing discipline with indulgence.
His love of history and reading filled his home with knowledge and curiosity, and he found simple joy in feeding the birds that visited his yard. Before losing his sight 13 years ago, Frank and Marian explored the world together, visiting places like Greece, Egypt, Italy, Vienna, and the Panama Canal.
In honor of his memory, the family kindly invites those who wish to contribute to make a donation to the Lion's Club Senior Center for the Blind, supporting a cause that was close to their hearts.
Frank LaBianca touched many lives as a teacher, mentor, and friend. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Arrangements for a celebration of Frank's life are pending at this time.
