Herman L. Fuchs

Herman L. Fuchs, a beloved resident of Centereach, New York, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on November 6, 1930, Herman was a devoted husband, father, and sports enthusiast who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Herman is survived by his loving wife of many years, Lucille. He was a cherished father to Lauren Fuchs, Jill Fuchs, Dana Fuchs, and Tracey Fuchs (Susan Dauber). Herman’s love for his family knew no bounds, and his proudest moments were spent watching his children grow and excel in all that they did.

An avid sports fan, Herman had a deep passion for the New York Yankees and the New York Rangers, often sharing his love of the games with his family. He and Lucille enjoyed many vacations to the Islands, as well as trips to the casinos, creating treasured memories together. But above all, Herman’s favorite pastimes were those spent with his children, celebrating their accomplishments and sharing in their lives.

Herman's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering support for his family made him a constant source of love and joy.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A closing prayer will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 NY-112, Coram, NY 11727.

Herman’s family takes comfort in knowing that he lived a full and meaningful life, surrounded by love and joy. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
