Her parents were MJ and Arthur, though she felt Matilda played an integral role in her upbringing and her relationship with god. She had two nephews, Jason & Philip Jon, and one niece and goddaughter, Carlie. She also has 9 great nieces and nephews. She was especially close with her cousin Linda, with whom she felt was like another sister.
Jane was passionate and very strong willed. She was most certainly a leader, her strong personality was unique & one of a kind. She certainly was not someone you wanted to go up against, but someone that you absolutely would want on your team.
She was an amazing artist. She enjoyed painting many of the things she loved some of which were commissioned in westchester county and other personal art which included one of the most beautiful portraits of her sister, her beloved pets and even Halloween characters for her son. Her best friends were her mother and sister even amidst their mostly comedic family spats.
She also had an amazing love for animals. She would have rescued and adopted every animal if she could. Sometimes it seemed that she had a better understanding and appreciation of animals, more than humans. She was raised in the 60’s and was most certainly a wild flower.
She loved traveling the world with family and often enjoyed local trips to casinos, such as Mohegan Sun, with her mother and son.
Dean was, and still is, the absolute light and joy of her life. She could nag him for days and ignore all boundaries lol, but she never stopped talking about what a blessing he was, how proud she is of him, and how much she loved him, to everyone who crossed her path. There may have been some thing’s she wished she did differently in this life, but her son was not one of them! In fact, he was her most proud accomplishment and the biggest love of her life.
