Joan V. Triolo of Port Jefferson Station, NY, passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 13, 1934, Joan lived a life full of love, joy, and devotion to her family.
She was the beloved wife of Frank A. Triolo for nearly 72 years, a marriage built on unwavering love and mutual respect. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories. Joan was a loving and devoted mother to Frank Triolo Jr. (Phyllis) and Michael Triolo (Mary), and a proud grandmother to Mike Triolo (Andriana), Anthony Triolo (Jennifer), Alexandria Triolo Elkattan (Tarek), Nicole McGan (Sean), Kristopher Triolo, and Kimberly Grafton (Dale). Her legacy continued through her great-grandchildren: Anthony, Taylor, Dylan, Logan, Ashlyn, Lucy, Dominic, Pearson, and Gavin, each of whom she adored deeply.
Joan’s family meant everything to her, and she always made it a point to be there for them, especially during the holidays, when her home would become the heart of family gatherings. She was famous for her homemade cream puffs and cheesecake, treats that were lovingly anticipated each year. Joan had a natural gift for making everyone around her feel welcome and special.
A woman of intelligence and curiosity, Joan had an active mind and was known for her habit of researching topics thoroughly before delving into them. She was always learning, always exploring, and always ready to share her knowledge with others. Her creative talents were endless, and she spent countless hours crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each stitch a testament to her love and care.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10 AM at Infant Jesus R.C. Church, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
