Joseph T. McDonnell on October 5, 2012 of Mt. Sinai, Long Island. Beloved husband of the late Anne McDonnell. Loving father of Thomas McDonnell (Kinsey), Joseph McDonnell (Carla), Mary McDonnell, Ann Verdi (Vincent), Paul McDonnell (Muriel), Irene Gifford (Lincoln) and Jean Castano (Jose). Cherished grandfather of eight. Mr. McDonnell was an alumni of Brooklyn Prep, a Past-President of the Three Village Rotary Club, was celebrated as "Man-of-the-Year" for business news of the Village Times during the 1970's. In addition, he was a graduate of Fordham University with a bachelors degree and a law degree. Reposing at Casimir Funeral Home, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, Long Island. Visitation Monday, October 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 10 am St. Louis de Montfort R.C. Church, Sound Beach, Long Island. Interment to follow the Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, Long Island.
