Marilyn “Lynnie” Lamond, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025. Born on March 26, 1948, in Queens, New York, Lynnie lived a life marked by warmth, compassion, and a deep, enduring love for her family and community.
Lynnie was the beloved wife of John and treasured mother of Colleen Britt Tranzilli (Michael), Kristin Britt, and Jessica Gunderson (Jeff) and stepmother of Carrie Lamond (Allan). She was a devoted and joyful grandmother to Fia Gunderson, Allie Wojcik, Vance Gunderson, McKenna Tranzilli, Malone Gunderson, and Cristofano Tranzilli, all of whom brought her immeasurable pride and happiness. She is also survived by her adored brother, William McKenna Jr. (Peggy), with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and an unbreakable bond.
To know Lynnie was to know kindness, humor, and a gentle strength that uplifted those fortunate enough to be part of her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and the countless moments of connection she created with others.
Please join us this Saturday, November 22nd, as we come together to celebrate Lynnie’s life and honor the beautiful spirit she shared so freely.
