my condolences to the McCrossin family, the loss of your beloved is hard and heavy. I remember he he had a nice friendly way about him.

Hi Dad! After the beautiful, honorable tribute to you at Calverton, I was on my way home with a heavy heart. I wanted to go home, lay in bed and just think of your life. But Lori said "lets go down to the beach and watch the sunset, maybe that will make you feel better". So we made a detour and went to the beach, because you know Lori and I love the ocean and we wanted to go there for the sunset and think about you which was better than going home. It was so much more peaceful. Lori & I stood at the shore and recited Psalm 23 in your memory as the sun was just setting. It was such a beautiful scene which put a smile on my face. It comforts me to know that you are in heaven. I love you and I will talk to you soon. Richard

    From grandson to grandfather I salute you! You helped me get through a lot of rough times. You were always there when i needed a man to man talk and always gave me the best advice. This is really hard on me but I know you are watching me from heaven. I MISS YOU SO MUCH PA.... R.I.P. 1-4-3 I will NEVER forget you. You will always be in my prayers and thoughts and most of all my HEART!

You were the greatest Pa anyone could ever wish for and i miss you so much! I miss that old spice smell, the "Pa dance", that big smile you had and your awesome sense of humor, that amazing hair, how you used to call me Ericer, your navy stories, and countless other things. You were the only boy with 7 sisters but you were a king and you started an empire. I am SO proud to call myself a McCrossin. Your memory shall live forever in my heart. Sweet dreams Pa. I love you! My dad..what is a dad..well, my dad is one of the best friends I ever had..hes laughed with me.. hes cried with me...for all of my life he stood beside me..though  my life has been ample, my dad always stood out as an example. To follow your heart to do what is right to hang onto your true values with all of your might. I love my dad and I'm proud to say, may God walk beside him each and every day.

I  knew all the McCrossin's when I was a little girl.  I always remember how their Dad was always doing something with his boys and especially when finally a little girl, Dineen came into their family I remember how proud and so estatic he was. He always had time for me and my brothers.  May you rest in peace and I am sure you are looking down on your beautiful family and are proud that you were a great  Dad, Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa. May the wind be always at your back and Godspeed.
