Throughout his career, he built a strong reputation as an industry leader and a valued mentor to many, and was named multiple times to the company’s President’s Club. Prior to joining hibu in 2000, he spent nearly a decade working at R.H. Donnelley in Manhattan. Robert is survived by his parents, Dr. Carlos and Ana Carneiro; his loving wife of 21 years, Diane; his three loving children, Robert, Michael and Victoria; his two brothers, Sidney Carneiro, and Wilson Carneiro (Melissa); his sister- in-law Darlene La Chapelle (Rick Kayel) and brother-in-law Glen Rosen. He will also be missed by his many loving nieces and nephews, Jaime, Celine, Charles, Nicholas, Jonathan, and Benjamin.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 7 from 5pm to 9pm at Majestic Gardens located at 420 Route 25A in Rocky Point, New York. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for “Team Carneiro” for the Long Island 2016 Cure PC Walk.
