

Robert Thomas Kelleher of Setauket, NY passed away on June, 10, 2015 from complication of surgery. Bob was born in Englewood, NJ and moved to Manasquan at the age of eight. He was a 1968 graduate of Manasquan High School and attended Bethel College in McKenzie, TN.
After his family, Bob's second love was auto racing. He was well known in racing circles for his artwork and driver interviews, many of which were published in newspapers and magazines such as "Stock Car Racing" and even published his own coloring book, "Color Me Fast", which remains a collector's item among stock car fans from Maine to Florida. He was also on the staff of National Speed Sport News. Among his most memorable interviews was that of Teo Fabi at the first Meadowlands Grand Prix in 1984, with Bob bringing his best friend, Frank, to translate. He also had a love for music, spending many hours in recording studios, lending his beautiful voice to songs on which he and his friends collaborated. Bob was also a walk-on in the movie "Ragtime" and will also be fondly remembered for his many years as Santa at the former Peddler's Village in Wall Township. Bob will be greatly missed by his family, his friends and the so many lives that he touched.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Eleanor and Jim Kelleher and his brothers Ronald and Terry. He is survived by his loving wife Karen; brother Jim Kelleher and his wife Sandra of Wall; nephew James D. Kelleher of Wall; niece Kathy Fell and her husband Brian of Wall and 2 grand nephews, Brian and Colin Fell of Wall.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at OB Davis Funeral Home. Then visitation will resume Monday, June 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 9:30 am at The Church of St. Denis in Manasquan. Interment will follow at St. Catharine Cemetery in Wall Township, New Jersey..
