Robert William Lamberson was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was the oldest of three children born to James Lamberson and Mary McGerald Lamberson. He attended various schools in the New York area and joined the work force at a very early as an apprentice bricklayer. He excelled in the field and moved up in the ranks very quickly. Upon the very early death of his mother, and having had an absentee father who worked away from home, Bob was very involved in the welfare and caretaking of his younger sister Maureen and his baby brother Jim. Bob met Lesley Zammit in his twenties and they embarked on a long term relationship. Together they had one daughter (Lorelei Lamberson) and she in turn had one son (Kyle Lamberson). It was only a few weeks ago that Kyle and his partner gave birth to a beautiful baby boy (Finley Lamberson) and made Bob a very happy great grandfather! Bob later relocated to Pennsylvania and settled in the capital city of Harrisburg. Once again, he moved up in the ranks quickly and upon his retirement, he was a Project Manager with the State Building of Harrisburg. He was a devout Catholic and a member of Saint Patrick’s Church near to his home. He developed a great love for aviation sports and was happiest when jumping from or flying airplanes! Bob was very well loved and respected. He is survived by his beloved daughter Lorelei, grandson Kyle, great grandson Finley; brother Jim Lamberson and his partner Thelma; brother in law Bill Snyder; nephew James Lamberson Junior and his spouse Mariann; nephew Bill Snyder Junior; nieces Stephanie Lamberson, Jennifer Snyder, Jamie Snyder; cousins Maureen Kay, Anna, Debbie and Tommy Setta. Fondly remembered by lifelong friends Lesley Zammit, Stephanie Steinruck and Bernadette.
P. S. For the record, the day of his death marked the 45th anniversary of sobriety for him! Way to go, Brother Bob! ❤️
