Vella Marie Usher, age 83, of Port Jefferson Station, New York passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 after an extended battle with Alzheimer's and pulmonary arrest.

Beloved mother of Susan Henderson and Mark Usher. Loving grandmother of Sabbath, Tara and Susan. Adored great grandmother of Giovanni and Bellatrix. Cherished sister of Bennie and Janet. Dear aunt of Mathew, Sarah, Nathan, Liz and Ronnie.

Vella is a retired LPN from St. Charles Hospital and avid hobbyist.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 12-4 PM. Prayer service at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Long Island Chapter, 300 Broadhollow Road, Suite LL 100, Melville, NY 11747
