

William "Bill" Phillips, Jr., 55, passed away in Parker, Colorado on November 22, 2014. Bill was born on November 29, 1958 in Plainview, N.Y., the son of William Kenneth and Helen Ann (Bliss) Phillips. He graduated from Comsewogue Senior High School in Port Jefferson Station, N.Y. Bill also attended FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City, N.Y. On July 26, 1981 he married RoseMarie DeMayo at Infant Jesus Roman Catholic Church located in Port Jefferson, New York. The marriage ceremony was performed by Father Francis "Frank" Pizzarelli. In May of 1988 the young couple relocated to Colorado and on March 18, 1989 they had a beautiful daughter and named her Jacqueline Marie. In June of 2014 he retired from United Airlines Ramp Service after 36 years. Bill enjoyed all sports and his hobbies included hockey, fantasy football, fantasy baseball and drawing. In addition to the viewing services that will take place in New York at OB Davis Funeral Home, 4839 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson, NY 11776 on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, a memorial service will also be held in Colorado at the Parker Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Survivors include his wife, RoseMarie "Roe" Phillips, of Parker, CO; his daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Phillips of Parker, CO; his mother, Helen Phillips, of Port Jefferson Station, NY; his brother, Craig (Jennifer) Phillips, of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY; his sister, Michele (Kenneth) Schupner, of Port Jefferson Station, NY; and his furry children, Wolfgang and Bella, of Parker, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Denver Dumb Friends League.
