He is survived by his father and step-mother, Guy and Barbara Carmichael; mother and step-father, Glenda and Bob Deal; sons, Chad Carmichael Jr., Thomas Carmichael; daughter, Katie Carmichael; and sisters, Robin Johnson and Hope Green.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, June 2, 2014 at Port Lavaca Cemetery at 3 p.m. with military honors under the auspices of the Calhoun County Veterans Joint Honor Guard.
Pallbearers are Guy Carmichael, Derek Green, Jason Mickle, Jason Stanton, Erin Gilmore and Gil Gilmore.
