Clarice O Woody

Clarice O. Woody, 85 of Port Lavaca passed away July 19, 2014. She was born July 5, 1929 in Port Lavaca to the late Clarence T. and Nora Mayfield Fellers. Clarice was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church and was retired from Union Carbide.

She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Shannon; brother, James Roy Fellers; grandchildren, Racee Rutherford, Stefanie Hamilton, Tiffany Butcher, Brett Woody, Candice Woody, and Chasity Murphy; great-grandchildren, Steven McCauley, Kori Malone, Christopher Brewer, Jacqulyn Hamilton, Kenzi Butcher, Kelsey Murphy, Kennedi Butcher, Trent Woody, Daegin Hamilton, Josh Woody, Katie Woody, Bo Woody, and Billy Woody, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Woody in April 2003; sons, Billy Woody in September 2013 and Steven Woody in December 2010; sisters, June Ballard, Helen Fellers; brother, Clarence (JR) Fellers.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home with the Rev. J.V. Helms officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Hamilton, David Butcher, Chris Brewer, Rodney Ballard, Rex Ballard and John Manchaca. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Shannon and all of her great-grandchildren.
