Dorothy Mae West Montgomery, 89, of Victoria passed away February 4, 2019. She was born July 27, 1929 in Refugio, TX to Mr. and Mrs. John Richmond West. She was a sells representative for Sams.

She is survived by son, Archie Don Sanders Jr. (Liz); daughters, Donna Jean Sanders Tyson (Larry), Ruby Lee Sanders Buck (Curtis), Margie Alleen Williams; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Richmond West and Lilly Maude Perkins; husband, James Thomas Montgomery; daughter, Gaye Montgomery Murtaugh; brothers: Phillip, Jesse, Clyde, Clark and Joseph West; and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Britton.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home in Port Lavaca. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Seadrift Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Christopher Schaefer, Ryan Elkins, Anthony Rodriguez, Phillip Price, John Tyson and Archie “DeeDee” Sanders. Honorary Pallbearers are Jermane Finch, Timothy “TBone” Shake, Robert “Bull” Wilkins and David Louie.
