ELIZABETH BETTY AMADOR PORT LAVACA - Elizabeth "Betty" Amador, 83, of Port Lavaca, Texas, passed away on September 20, 2018 in Port Lavaca. Betty was born in Palacios, Texas to Elmer and Ethel Abraham on November 4, 1934. She married Martin Amador on September 3, 1954 at her parent's home in Carancahua, Texas. Betty had many passions throughout her lifetime. Some of these included playing dominos, listening to gospel and old country music, crocheting, swimming, socializing, and spending her time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Tori Amador; sister, Lorraine O'Connell; and brother, Robert Abraham. Betty is survived by her daughters, Gina (Bobby) Janis and Patti (Mike) Roeder; son, Martin "Bubba" Amador; sisters, Laverne Zandanel and Sandra Dudley; brothers, Herbert Abraham and Dennis Abraham; grandchildren, Stephanie (Servando) Sanchez, Kristin (Erich) Remlinger, Hunter Roeder, and Cassie (Dustin) Angerstein. She also leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren whom all of which called her Grandma Betty. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, September 24, 2018, at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bender of Cowboy Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow at Olivia Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Erich Remlinger, Servando Sanchez, Blake Torres, Dustin Angerstein, Arnold Townley, and Mike Boudreaux. Honorary Pallbearer: Hunter Roeder. Memorials may be given to the Olivia Community Center or the Olivia Cemetery Association.
