

Juana C Pompa, 81, of Seadrift passed away May 4, 2011. She was born March 7, 1930 in Corpus Christi to the late Nicolas and Isabel Mascorro Charles. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seadrift.
She is survived by her daughters, Ofelia P. Elizondo and husband, Kelly of Austin, Idolina Meza of Port Lavaca, Maria Estrada and husband, Edward of Seadrift; sons, George A. Salazar of Seadrift, Timoteo C Pompa and wife, Sherri of Seadrift; sisters, Isabel Moore of California, Tina Oudie of Seguin; brothers, Nicolas Charles of Corpus Christi, Roberto Charles of San Antonio, Ruben Charles of Corpus Christi, Raul Charles of Seadrift; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timoteo D Pompa; sons, Jesse Salazar, Salome Salazar; parents; sisters, Josephina Martinez, Genoveva Sauceda, Clara Terrazas; brothers, Chano Charles, Samuel Charles and granddaughter, Victoria Estrada.
Visitation was held Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 12-7p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 from 1-2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seadrift with the Funeral Mass to begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Seadrift Cemetery.
Pallbearers are grandsons: Eddie Salazar, James Salazar, Ovie Meza, Juan Salazar, Sam Sparks and Timothy “TJ” Pompa.
Honorary Pallbearer is Noah Estrada.
