She is survived by her daughters, Diana Melenich, and Melinda Gonzalez; sons, Gerardo G. Gonzalez and Melquiades Gonzalez, Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Melquiades Gonzalez; daughter, Sylvia Ressler, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A time of Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Richardson Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher O. Gonzalez, Aaron Gonzalez, Armand Gonzalez, Trevor Adams, Joe Moreno, and Christopher Calzada. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alexander Gonzalez, Wyatt Garza, Ethan Uresti, Kaleb Bautista, Timothy Adams, and Marcus Chavana.
