Marjorie Nelle Gotcher

Marjorie Nelle Gotcher, 74 of Indiana and Port Lavaca, Texas passed away February 14, 2011. She was born February 6, 1937 in Brady, Texas. She was raised in Port Lavaca by her parents, the late Marvin Lloyd and Alma Lee Buntyn Levingston. Margie loved playing cards with her friends at the Senior Citizen Center, fishing with her husband David and spending time with her family. She was very dedicated to her church and loved Bible study.

She is survived by her husband David Gotcher; daughters, Glenda Gotcher Boie and Tammy Swatkowski; sons, Richard Hambleton (Kadie) and Danny Ray Gotcher; niece, Tracy Jarzombek (Billy); nephew, Donald Ray Unbehend; great nieces, Kelsi Follis (Adan), Kristi Cortez (Joey) and Katie Jarzombek; grandchildren, Justin, Andy, Chelsea, Danny Jr., John, Luke and Shawnie; great-great niece, Kasidi; and her two dogs, Peanut and Patches.

In addition to her parents Margie was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Hambleton and sister, Billie Joyce Brown.

A time of visitation will be held from 1 – 4 pm on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home with a prayer service to begin at 4 pm with the Rev. Marcos Gohlke officiating.
