Port Lavaca – Miguel Escalante, Sr., 66, of Port Lavaca passed away September 17, 2014. He was born June 9, 1948 in Victoria to the late Epolito and Minerva Escalante.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Gallegos Escalante; daughters, Mary Jane Escalante, Irene Escalante, Jennie Jacques, Monica Escalante; sons, Miguel Escalante, Jr., Ralph Anthony Escalante, Teodore Ted Escalante, Abraham John Escalante, Adrian John Escalante; sisters, Mary Jane Rivera, Jennell Conchola; brother, Robert Escalante; 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with a Rosary to begin at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with Deacon Al Calzada officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
