Port Lavaca – Patsy Rhea Wilborn, 86, of Port Lavaca passed away March 31, 2015. She was born January 30, 1929 in Houston, TX to the late B. Ray and Edna Mae Bland. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church and loved all the church circles and activities of her church.
In her spare time she was a volunteer at Memorial Medical Center Auxiliary for many years. Many trips were enjoyed over the years with many of these friends along with her husband. She will be joining her beloved husband of 68 years who passed away May of last year. “MeMa” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always be remembered for all her wonderful meals, vacations and family fun.
She is survived by her daughter, Candy Wallgren and husband Chuck; sons, Rick Wilborn and wife Marcy and Larry Wilborn and wife Sharon; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Wilborn and her parents.
Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
