Polly Lou Schultz Haberkorn, 65, of Port Lavaca passed away January 5, 2026. She was born August 7, 1960 in Port Lavaca to James Irving and Paula Schultz. Polly graduated from Texas A&M University in 1982 in Agronomy. She worked for the NRCS for 18 years and then became a real estate agent until she was diagnosed with ALS. She enjoyed gardening and making stained glass.
She is survived by her sons, Shannon Williams and wife, Misti of Marquez, TX, Justin Williams and wife, Kristin of Franklin, TX; step-daughter, Michelle Haberkorn and fiancé, Justin Trout of Summerville, SC; sister, Kathy Schultz of Tivoli, TX; and grandchildren, Alex and Morgan Nitche, Kameron and Kinley Angele, Austin and Eli Trout and Charley Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 12, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Tivoli with Pastor Cindy Meyers officiating. Burial will follow in Tivoli Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Shannon Williams, Justin Williams, Lester Williams, Colby Thompson, Tony Daniel, Alex Nitche, Kameron Angele, and Kris Bonner. Honorary Pallbearers are Charley Williams and James Sanders.
