Rita Orta Ybarra

She is survived by her children, Ernestine Quijas, Mario Ybarra, Javier O. Ybarra (Irene), Rita Jo Garcia, Hope Vela, Soledad Ybarra, Julio O. Ybarra (Lois Hershey), Henry Ybarra Jr., Barbara Ybarra, Rolando Ybarra and Dolores Venecia (Flavio Jr.); sister, Mary Orta Calzada; brothers, Savino G. Orta and Edward G. Orta; 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. “Pachuco” Ybarra; parents; sisters, Andrea Orta Bazan and Episania G. Orta; brothers, Santiago G. Orta, Luis G. Orta, Pedro G. Orta, Juan G. Orta and Gregorio G. Orta and grandchildren, Sara L. Vela and Anthony W. Ybarra.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Visitation and rosary will follow from 6-7 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 26, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church with Father Tommy Chen officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jerry Samudio, Jacob Vela, Jason Trevino, Keanu Ybarra, Joe Albert Ybarra and Rolando Ybarra.
