Robert "Bobby" Meyer

Robert “Bobby” Meyer, 90, of Port Lavaca passed away March 22, 2026. He was born August 25, 1935 in Port Lavaca to Robert and Gladys Elder Meyer. Bobby worked as a bookkeeper at First State Bank and Trust. He served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, and enjoyed spending time gardening.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Sachtleben (Calvin), Lois Ann Ramey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lloyd Meyer and Richard Meyer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 6-7 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tommy Chen officiating. Burial will follow in Six Mile Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Trey Tatum, Russell Tatum, Lucas Meyer, Adan Meyer, Aaron New and Morgan New.
