Virginia C. Franks, 70, of Port Lavaca passed away March 18, 2015. She was born October 24, 1944 in Marshall, TX to the late Ernest and India Walker Moore. She was a retired CPA from the IRS and recently worked for Comiskey and Meeks PLLC. She loved to crochet, doted on her children and grandchildren and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Dina (Gary) Smith; sister-in-law, Patty Moore; grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, Marshall (Lindsey) Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Jillian (Colton) Williams, Evan Smith, Kara Smith; great-grandchildren, Camille, Rylee and Logan Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arthur Moore and grandson, Matthew Smith.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with Adam Lazarine officiating. Burial will follow in Olivia Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Nicholas Smith, Marshall Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Colton Williams, Dylan Lyons, Paul Moore and Evan Smith.
