Mrs. Forehand was enlisted in the Army for nine years as a combat medic, serving in Desert Storm, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant E5. After her military service, Diane was a home health assistant, then a pharmacy technician until her retirement. She was an active member of Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church, in Sanford, FL.
Mrs. Forehand is survived by her husband, Leslie Richard Forehand, her brother David Mercure, and two children, Pamala Pruitt and Shawn Mondor. She also has 10 grandchildren: Trista, Hunter, Gabriella, Emily, Brianna, Tristan, Noah, Isaiah, Persephone, and Calliope as well as 3 great grandchildren: Aiden, Katera, and Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Diane’s memory.
A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 2, at Palmetto Baptist Church, 2626 S. Palmetto Ave., Sanford, FL 32773 with military honors also being rendered.
