Dianne DeLong Knapp, 74, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. Born in Lancaster, OH and moving to Daytona Beach, FL in 1980, she retired to Bishop’s Glenn in Ormond Beach after 21 years. Dianne was full of life, loved the beach, and had a passion for shopping. Everyone who knew her and loved her will miss her greatly. Preceding her passing were her parents, Gaylord & Evelyn DeLong, daughter Angela D. Hale, and grandson Chase C. Mallett. Dianne leaves behind her husband of 25 years, George Knapp of Ormond Beach FL, her daughter and son-in-law Gwinn & Vince Ward, her son and daughter-in-law Terry & Kristin Glassburn, and her son Tim Glassburn – all of South Daytona, FL. Additionally, she will be missed by five grandchildren: Megan Mallett, Whitney Roberts, Leah Glassburn, Samantha Glassburn, and Timmy Glassburn; three great-grandchildren: Shaylee King, Chase Bankard, and Madison Cash; and two beloved pets, Hannah and Sofie. Services will be held Saturday, March 10th at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church, 305 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange FL 32127.
