On 24 April a great man took his final flight. Raising himself out of poverty, he amassed an impressive record of personal accomplishments through his 88 years. He was a proud veteran of the Army Air Corp who went on to become a professional aviator and a creative force in the business world. He was a loving husband and father; survived by his wife of 63 years, two children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His memory will be honored with a “missing man” flight to be performed by those who loved and respected him.
