Jack T. Davenport ,87, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away on March 24, 2014 at Ocean View Nursing and Rehab. Jack , a life long resident of this area served his country in the Army and Air Force for 22 years. After retiring from the military he worked as a mechanic for many years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hazel; daughter's Wanda (Don) of Daytona Beach and Lori (William) Hudek of Payson, Az. and three grandchildren. His son David predeceased him. Graveside service with full military honors will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Volusia Memorial Park 550 North Nova Rd.
