

James “Jim” Charles Milne, 59, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Jim was born in Jamaica, New York. He graduated from Hewlett High School where he participated on the diving and baseball team. After high school, Jim made his home in Florida. Jim was a store manager at several Save-A-Lot locations for over 20 years. His most recent location being Daytona Beach. Jim was passionate about music. He would get a kick out of break dancing to Michael Jackson songs, performing Blues Brother routines and was a fond collector of Beatles memorabilia. Jim was enthusiastic about working out and spent many hours at the gym. Jim enjoyed taking an afternoon cruise in his 1965 Mustang fastback and 1980 Corvette. Another past time of Jim included aquascaping he had several aquariums in his home. He prided himself on being the best husband, father, papa, brother, and friend he could be. Anyone that knew Jim will never forget his sense of humor and dad jokes. Jim had one of those personalities that could light up the room no matter the situation.
Jim was survived by the love of his life Debbie; son Collin (Baylee); daughter Marissa Demers (Chris); grandchildren Sophia and Liam; siblings Glenn (Lisa), Barbara (Richie), Donna (Ray), Robert (LeeAnn) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Catherine.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 12-3 pm with a prayer service at 1:00 pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home (4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange).
