Marc Andrew Briseno

Celebration of Life: April 23, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home

Marc was born in Colorado Springs, CO, on August 4, 1984. Attended High Plains Elementary and Rampart High School.

Marc is survived by his wife Shannon Haynie Briseno and two children Emiliano and Breanna. Also survived by his mom Theresa Moene and Bjorn, his father Ruben Briseno, Jr. His brothers Ruben L. Briseno, III (Melanie) and Anthony Briseno (Tiffany) along with many nieces and nephews. Marc’s Great Auntie Fern and special cousins. Rich and Sherri Haynie of Colorado Springs, Eric Haynie of Bend, OR, and Heather Haynie of Colorado Springs, and three nephews. Marc has so many aunts and uncles to list but loved him beyond measure. Marc was preceded in death by doting grandparents Ruben and Rachel Briseno of Chicago and Laurence and Vivian Bloxsom of Colorado Springs.

Marc moved to Florida after accepting a job at Liberty Mutual Insurance and had worked there up until his death. Marc was well-loved by this company and his coworkers. Marc received multiple certifications in his company.

Marc did not know a stranger. Marc loved his family, his children. Marc grabbed life and lived every minute with a passion. Marc had so many friends, he was well loved and respected and touched so many people. Remember to hug your family and friends and tell them you love them. Life is too short.

Marc loved his Chicago Cubs and rarely did you see him out of a Cubs shirt with his Cubs hat on.

Marc is and will always be missed. We Love and miss you so much Marc. We will see you on the other side!!

A Celebration of Life will be held in Colorado Springs, this coming summer, date TBD.
