Mary Little

Mary Pauline Chrestman Little, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2018. She was born on February 14, 1927, in Crowder, Mississippi, daughter of James and Ada Chrestman. She married Vance L. Little and in 1958 they moved with their children, Jerry and Linda Sue, from Memphis, Tennessee, to Daytona Beach, Florida, when Southern Bell Telephone Company transferred Vance. Mary was a housewife and mother until the late 1960's when she went to work at Montgomery Wards.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband Vance, brothers; Ruben, Charles, Leslie, Douglas and Wayne Chrestman and sister, Jeannette Stallings. Mary is survived by her children; Jerry Little (Susan), New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Linda Sue Gould (Roger), Fountain Hills, AZ.; grandchildren, Lee Lacey, Daytona Beach, FL, Cindy Donatelli (Dennis), Phoenix, AZ, Ted Little (Staci), Orlando, FL, and Kent Gould, Mesa, AZ; 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Chrestman, Hughes, AR, Richard and Raymond Chrestman, Proctor, AR and Raiford Chrestman, Coldwater, MS.

A celebration of life for Mary will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 4815 S Clyde Morris Blvd Port Orange, Friday, September 21, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Volusia Memorial Park Ormond Beach.
