I just learned of Nancy's passing today and it saddened  me greatly I knew her through our association with the medical record group and we always met at meetings and functions and always enjoyed each other's company I will miss her very much.

You have left us all too soon. You will be missed.

Nancy lived next door to me in our freshman dorm at Luther College in 1968.  It saddened me today to read in the Luther magazine of her passing. Though our time together was long ago, her smile, exuberance and determination are still very much with me.  Soli Deo Gloria!

I just learned of Nancy's death  and I'm so sorry.   Nancy was my best pal at Ottumwa Heights College and a true friend to me and my children. I want her sisters to know how much I loved and admired her. She was a truely lovely person with a great sense of humor. I'm sorry she is gone so soon.  Kathryn Weirbach Allen

I am so sadden to hear of Nancy's passing and wish her family my condolences.
I have known Nancy since our working days at Saint Luke's Medical Center in Cedar Rapids Iowa in 1975.  We became good friends and coached the women's softball team from Saint Luke's.
You are missed Nancy.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I had the privilege of working with her for 12 years. She was was of the brightest, funniest, and kindest people I have met.

Dear Nancy, it was a great honor to know you and your family, and I would like to thank you for being my mentor and for all the things you have done during my first year in the US as well as the years afterwards. The memories will remain, and they will surely keep bringing the smile on my face. RIP, my friend.

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

Dear Nancy Thomas the Tank Engine,

As my teacher, mentor, then friend, I will hold you gently in my heart forever.  It was a lovely 33 years with lots of laughs.  You left so many who loved you dearly.  We miss you. I see you rolling your eyes at me with all this fuss!

I love the times we spent together on my visits to Florida. Love and prayers to all of Nancy's family and friends.

My trips to Florida to visit my sister Linda is how I got to know Nancy.   I was in awe of her independence, confidence and no nonsense feisty spirit.  Nancy's friendship was a gift to anyone lucky enough to have known her.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and to my sister Linda. I will miss you Nancy!

Nancy leaving us has left a big hole in all of our hearts. The wonderful memories of her humor, dedication to the students and athletes, and her love of life will help to refill that hole. Nancy, if you are looking down on us, please know how empty we fill without you in this world. We love and miss you greatly.

My cousin, Nancy, was someone I admired and looked up to. We had great times together.

Nancy's good cheer and smiling face always lit up my day.  Her examples of courage inspired me every day!

Dr. Thomas was a wonderful teacher and I will never forget her. I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful woman.

Nancy was one of the most dedicated teachers at DSC.  She was a role model to both faculty and students.  My deepest sympathy.

Dr. Thomas was one of the most amazing teachers I ever had. She encouraged me to choose the path I am now on and I will forever be grateful to her. My prayers are with her family and friends.

I was deeply saddened to hear the unexpected news. I was lucky enough to be taught by Dr.Thomas in my first year of the H.I.M program. I feel very lucky to have had that opportunity.I loved her stories and looked up to her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Nancy was a highly respected member of our HIM educators community.  We will miss her at the FHIMA conventions.
