Pam obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Corpus Christi State University. She co-owned her own real estate company, Home Front Realty, with her spouse Thomas R. Willmott. Active with both local and council levels of leadership within the Boy Scouts of America, Pamela was awarded the Silver Beaver Award – the highest volunteer award. She also dedicated many years to the Volusia County School Board as both a Sysop Teacher and as a valued substitute teacher. A devoted Catholic and member of Our Lady of Hope, Pam was a former President of the Council of Catholic Women (CCW), a Eucharist Minister, and served in several other volunteer positions within the church community. She also was a volunteer and lifetime member with VFW Post 3282.
But her proudest moments came from watching her children grow up and make families of their own. Surviving family members include: daughter Karyl-Anne Moore, daughter Kelly Jay Moore, son Thomas R. Willmott, III, and daughter in law Julie Diane Willmott. Additionally, Pamela was loved by her 8 grandchildren: Kevin Michael Neal, Jr., Courtney Marie Neal, Kaely Jenise Ferguson, Ryan Steven Ferguson, Madison Michele Faller, Alex Russell Faller, Emory James Thames, Krysti Weatherall, and 3 great grandchildren: Raelynn Marie Neal, Karson Kahne Ferguson, and Aspyn Ann Faller. Pamela was welcomed into her final reward by her parents, R. Warren and Frances A. Baker, brother Edward James Baker, and her beloved husband Thomas R. Willmott.
A special acknowledgment to Halifax Hospice to their dedication to easing Mom’s transition. A Gathering of Friends and Family for a Celebration of Pamela’s Life will be on Thursday, May 30 at 6 pm, with a Vigil prayer service beginning at 7 pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home – Port Orange, 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange. A Funeral Mass with Cremains will be held at 8:30 am the following morning, Friday May 31, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. She will be laid to rest alongside her late husband at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
