Paul J Cloutier

Paul J. Cloutier, age 93, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021, surrounded by his family. Paul was born in Epping, New Hampshire, on March 5, 1928, to Alfred and Teresa Cloutier. He proudly served in the United States Army. He then graduated from St Anselm College. He was employed for 25 years by Aetna Life & Casualty where he met his wife Pat. Paul married Pat in 1958 and moved to Wethersfield, Conn. Upon retirement in July 1990, he moved with his wife to Port Orange, FL. Paul was an active member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and served for many years as a Eucharistic minister.

He was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Friend. He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Teresa Cloutier, four sisters Mary Cloutier, Genevieve Cloutier, Ann Cloutier and Meg King and three brothers Dave Cloutier, Bob Cloutier and Bill Cloutier. He was survived by his wife Pat and his four children Michael Cloutier, Terri Wrinn, Joan Bell and John Cloutier, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

The family would like to express their great appreciation to Halifax Health Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided to Paul.

Funeral service will be held 8:30 a.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange, FL. An Inurnment Ceremony will take place Friday, January 14, 2022, at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129. Arrangements are being handled by Volusia Memorial Funeral Home in Port Orange, FL.
