Rita V. Gutek

A bookkeeper for most of her life, Rita moved to the Port Orange, FL area in the early 1980’s after having been a resident of Palm Coast, FL and Warwick, NY. In addition to working for Conklin & Strong Lumber in Warwick, NY as well as Palm Coast Lumber, she was a charter member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and took great pride and comfort in her family and loved ones.

Rita is survived by her three children: William S. Gutek, III and wife Susan, of Nokomis, FL, Laurie Muollo and husband John of Middletown, NY, and Glenn Gutek and his wife Tami, of Oviedo, FL; son in law, Don Olech; brother, John Travis and sister, Mary McEntee both of Philadelphia, PA; brother in law Ron Gutek and wife Nancy of Bethlehem, PA; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.  Rita was predeceased by her husband, William Gutek, and daughter, Carol Olech. 

Family and friends are invited to gather at a Memorial Service celebrating Rita’s life at 2 pm Sunday, 1/22/2017 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 3701 S. Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange FL 32129, with Rev. Chris Akers and Rev. B.J. Foster officiating
