

She graduated in 1963 from Glassboro State College and was a dedicated teacher in Mount Laurel, N.J., for over 30 years. After moving to Port Orange, Florida, she and her husband, John, joined the Port Orange Presbyterian Church.
Rosanne enjoyed traveling with P.O.R.T., a nonprofit travel group for seniors. She and John assumed the role of escorts for the seniors on these trips to Europe, Alaska, and other places. Roseanne also enjoyed working at the Ocean Center box office, ushering at the News Journal Center at Daytona Beach College, and volunteering at the Halifax Health Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Ann (Brzychcy) Borachowski and a brother George Borachowski. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Smith, son Kenneth Smith and his wife, Amy Knowlton.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, January 10, for a Celebration of Life at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home at 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129. Private inurnment will be at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, 32174.
