

Sarah “Ginner” Neill Keith, 86, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away on March 25, 2012 at the Indigo Manor in Daytona Beach. She was born and raised in Seneca, South Carolina. She graduated from Seneca High School in 1942 and Queens College in 1946, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She lived in Greenville, SC throughout the late 1940s and 1950s. She married her beloved husband, Joe B. Keith in 1951. She worked in the banking industry most of her life, and moved to Ormond Beach in 1961 with her family and resided in the Daytona Beach area the remainder of her life. Ginner taught Sunday school at Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church for the 2 and 3 year olds throughout the 1960s and early 1970s. She started working for Daytona Beach Federal Savings and Loan in 1961 and was continuously employed there for over 28 years including service with Heritage Federal and American Pioneer Federal who succeeded Daytona Beach Federal. Mrs. Keith’s first priority was always her late husband and children. Her kindness and positive attitude endeared her to all she met. She loved the beach and shared her husband’s fondness for their favorite football teams. She and her late husband Joe were inseparable in life and are now reunited. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Daytona Beach, the Daughters of the American Revolution Wizard of Tamassee Chapter, Seneca, SC. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 50 years, Joe B. Keith; her parents, Robert Deaver Neill and May Hamilton Neill; and her brother, Robert D. Neill, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Bryant (Janet) of Port Orange, and Neill (Susan) of Jacksonville; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, and James. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:00 am, with the Funeral Service at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in the First Presbyterian Church of Daytona Beach, 620 S. Grandview Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118. Burial will be in the family plot at the Mountain View Cemetery in Seneca, SC. The family would like to thank the staff of the Indigo Manor for their diligent care and support during the prior eight years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals-On-Wheels, 160 N.
